Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work

March 13-14, 2019 | Center for Schools and Communities, Camp Hill, Pa.

This training  will provide an in-depth discussion of protective factors and what can be done to create an environment where families can build these factors in their own lives.

Instructors for the training are Denise Continenza, M.Ed., extension educator, Penn State Extension, Lehigh County and Obioma Martin, M.Ed., CEO, OMAX Institute.


2019 Pennsylvania Strengthening Families Conference

April 30 – May 2, 2019 | Toftrees Golf Resort, State College, Pa.

Network with Parents as Teachers colleagues, Children’s Trust Fund grantees and other family support professionals. Build your family support toolbox throughout interactive workshops on topics such as the Strengthening Families Protective Factors, brain development, supporting parent-child interaction, advocacy, and more.

This inaugural event will serve as the Children’s Trust Fund Annual Meeting and Parent as Teachers Statewide Conference.

This event is made possible by a partnership of Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning, Pennsylvania Strengthening Families™ Leadership Team, Pennsylvania Children’s Trust Fund, and Pennsylvania Parents as Teachers State Office at Center for Schools and Communities.
